Any idea what model/size bearings a sturmey archer track hubs takes?
Are you having difficulty reaching google from your computer?
http://www.sturmey-archer.com/files/catalog/files/161/PART%20LIST%20-%20HBT.pdfI like SKF, and I like Simplybearings, so I'd shop thusly:

Feed the strap so there's a loop of excess in the middle, not the end.
Do it up, then shuffle the end beck to where it's'square' and pull excess up at middle. Hard to explain I might have pics of mine.

Hardware shop on spring st? (The one that spills out onto the pavement) No idea what it's like. Otherwise, weirdly I have some in my bag and I am heading for High St Ken. Will be on my way through on the tube in about 20 mins, if you can get to Edgware Road or Paddington Station Circle lines for then? I can chuck It over the barrier.

You can buy spare ones which clamp on to the mudguard. I think I got one from SJS before.

Sorry I'm buswanker today. Apart from pulling my crank to bits I'm collecting stuff from the office that's too big to carry.

There's usually loads of random mudguard bits in the evans cycles ex-display/clearance bit.

Ugh sorry about that. I did do searching but was only coming up with the geared hub options.. I don't know I'll blame it on having a week old kid and being sleep deprived lol. I appreciate your help.

I can't find any that show what I mean.
Basically, the end of the velcro that, when pulled tight, is flared out, that needs to be stuck down where it is at its flattest. This means the velcro strap would be loose but what you do is take up the slack in the middle of the top tube, so there's a kind of slack loop of velcro pulled up but it's in the middle of the top tube away from your legs and the end of the velcro is flush with the side.
It means you don't have to cut the velcro.

(The drill has already been sent with some other cargo). Will it work out OK? Should I put it in hand luggage or check-in luggage?

I don't think I have a socket big enough for the Rotor/P2M spider. How can I get close enough to their required 40-50Nm without resorting to the "until it breaks then back it off quarter turn" method?
Their own instructions are showing the spider lockring tool in a vice and then tightening via the crankarm. How do they torque it right?
