Seriously, its quite hard to reconcile someone who deeply appreciates USA-made Vans with someone with a profound love for Stone Island. In spite of Massimo Osti, that brand is a no-go because of what I associate it with. Take the label off, then some of it (mostly jackets) becomes wearable.
Its hard to reconcile the roots of Vans with the aspirations of the majority that wear Stone Island, unless you used to skateboard to Goodison Park in the 80's. Which I don't think anyone did and lived to talk about it.
