Wanted both racks on one bike. Nice to be able to haul random stuff on the back with the use of a bungee net.

I'm with @Jaap on this one. That thing fucks me right off, it just looks like any hybrid with big tyres. It seems to be a bike that nobody asked for as being hailed as the saviour of all on two wheels.

I've put two bottle cages on an old AWOL fork, a beer opened with a spoon, and some tinkering.

Also...holy fucking marketing cuntery.

What the story with the drive side chain stays lowered a la old Univegas?

Clearance, to shorten the wheelbase without resorting to MTB chainset (that give more clearance, but massive q-factor).

Found it;

This new Genesis is running 650b wheels with 47mm WTB Horizon tyres - the final bike will have space for 50mm tyres. To accommodate the tyres the Genesis designers have had to drop the chainstay out of the space between the tyre and chainset, in s similar fashion to the Open UP. This move also helps to keep the chainstay length reasonably short. Fit bigger tyres and you have to lengthen the chainstays to provide clearance and dropping the chainstay is a neat solution.

I'm looking to get rid of my Pizza Rack. I think its a bit overkill for my needs...

I want a smaller, rando style rack. Something like the Nitto M13 I suppose that can mount to a Straggler fork.

Does anybody have one of these and fancy doing a swap?
