Yeah, maybe. I did a shoot there a while back and really wanted to streetcast some kids in the favelas, but agency producers shit themselves about it, insisted we had armed guards and bulletproof cars at all times, so it never happened.
So my producer chatted to a local guy in a bar who said he could help, no filming but if we wanted to go explore, that's all fine. 15mins later, phonecalls to a gang boss, a few dollars, and we were totally cool. No hassle, walked around like it was any other street.
