Currently working on this: french track frame 'vanhaelen' made out of Camus tubing. I built it up with parts from my pub bike (the gazelle in the background) and bits from the parts bin. This week I'll be getting one of those kalloy sr-copy seatposts since the fluted seatpost shown in the photos is about 3cm too short. I also bought a 3t pro chrome stem since the stem from the parts bin doesn't look trustworthy and isn't level. I was wondering what would be the best way to get rid of the logos on the 3t stem, acetone? The shimano 105 road cranks are also temporary, I have a pair of sugino mighty road cranks with a black 48t chainring which look nice and tie in with the budget theme of the bike. If i put the 48t ring on it, I'll put a 17t cog in the back - can't argue with 48/17. Would be nice to relace the rear wheel eventually so as to have matching silver spokes and box section rims.
