^I assumed you'd have your @ notifications set-up and thought there'd be sufficient mutual interest!

For an old semi-Luddite like me, I have no idea what '@ notifications' are!
Im off work this week, after turning my ankle over on a fireground, so will be having another go with the wet and dry later.....it's very time consuming and labour intensive though.....not to mention painfull on the digits! I'm going to knock up a tool of some description, to ease the pain.

@stedlocks do you still have the Rensch/Paris?
I recently acquired a Paris as well and would love to see how yours turned out.Thread is already 2 years old, but you never know ;)

Hi rogier, yep, I still have it but progress has been very slow! Something always comes up in front of it! Got any pictures of yours?

@stedlocks It's still as acquired, too many other projects to finish first and clear some space...
Apparently it is an early one, but has been refurbished in the 1980s :( disguised it as a Claud Butler, added braze ons for shifter levers, bottle cage, hidden rear brake cable - lots to do! I'll probably leave it as is for now and take my time to source some decent period parts to bring it back to a more original condition in the future

Good find!
I keep meaning to start again, but something gets in the way all the time.....currently, I noticed a leak in the cab area of my old old bay window camper, then found a couple of scabby bits, then a few more etc......currently, that is getting my spare time/sanding duties!

I recently joined this Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/323334228047830/
The marque enthusiast from the Veteran Cycle Club is on that group as well, very knowledgeable chap. And keen to see as much Rensch/Paris machines as possible to complete the timeline of Harry Rensch's heritage.
