They still fined you?! On what grounds, I thought it was their fuck up?

They argued that I could have gone to the post office and had it sorted out by applying for a new v5c saying I'd lost mine and paid the fee for a new one. I guess I could have, didn't fancy trying to argue any further. Just happy to have my car released.
