Since he's been playing for us he's been targeted in most matches in an effort to get him to retaliate (a few matches last season he was cleaned out in the first 10 minutes where, if the foul hadn't been on Barton, it would probably have been a sending off) but he's managed to keep calm and only picked up a handful of bookings.
He reverted to type fairly quickly in Scotland but it seems Dyche can generally keep him under control a bit better.
