Middle child has them in 26" on his mtb, not too bad for the money, not fantastic though.

Nice options, Panaracer comet hardpack looks like it might fit the bill too.
These are largely monstour vanity tyres right now and won't see any real use til we go to India next year... lol. -

They'll sit in my shed most of the time anyway. Think spares for aspirational rides ther than hard use workhorses. At that price, for that purpose, it's a no brainer.

Just fitted some 25 corsas on my superstar arc 22's and they are massive, come up more like 28

Charge used to spec wired 32c Small Block 8 on the Filter road/cross disc bikes. I have a pair pretty much ridden once only as I swapped for road tyres.

Anybody know an online shop where the Vittoria Corsa G+ 25c tires are the cheapest?

Sigma had them on sale for £35 recently

Vanilla Bikes and Mantel usually are good.
Wiggle also competitive.

CX Comp?
Middle is smoother than expected on road, decent amount of side thread for off road.

I have been really happy with my ritchey shield tires. 35mm, perfect for forest fun and great on the road too.

So I had a crash on some gravel the other day and managed to rip the sidewall on my Compass Bon Jon. Both front and back actually. On the first proper ride on them :(
Whats the best way to try to repair them? I'm running them with tubes. I stuck som electrical tape on the inside but it still bulges a couple mm.

Park Tool sells tyre boots (TB2 I think is the name of the kit) ; it actually works great (used some for about 1000km on a Grand Bois tyre sidewall without problems, and its barely noticeable while riding.

I've used the tyre boot that comes with Lezyne Super Patches for ages without issue. Basically anything that won't degrade and won't let the tyre poke through will do. Even if that's a bit of plastic wrapper taped in place.

Ha. I think I'll go with the €3 tyre boot...

I use the current small block eight pro (700x32) on my commuter. They're good for gravelly towpaths and dry forest path. They're useless in the mud and not great on roads. Not sure I'd recommend.
Kenda small block 8 pro are a bit knobblier, similar price.
