Looking for a steel track frame for commuting and racing (outdoor track league). Want a drilled front fork for a brake.
Have been looking at as a starting point :-
Cinelli Gazetta - Cheap, readily available. Quite like the current colour scheme. Would prefer 1" threaded headset though
Mercian Super Vigorelli - Visited Mercian yesterday and loved the frames in the showroom. However 10 month waiting list and quite pricey - I'd be worried about locking it up
Vintage Italian - Looking in the usual places, but not many around and in my size (58)
Japanese - Love some of the frames on NJS Export, but not drilled for a brake. Japanese track frames with a drilled front fork are somewhat rarer ?
Bob Jackson Vigorelli OTP - Probably my front runner if the waiting list isn't too long. Mid priced and custom to a degree
Anything else I should be considering ?
