  • Looking for a steel track frame for commuting and racing (outdoor track league). Want a drilled front fork for a brake.

    Have been looking at as a starting point :-

    Cinelli Gazetta - Cheap, readily available. Quite like the current colour scheme. Would prefer 1" threaded headset though
    Mercian Super Vigorelli - Visited Mercian yesterday and loved the frames in the showroom. However 10 month waiting list and quite pricey - I'd be worried about locking it up
    Vintage Italian - Looking in the usual places, but not many around and in my size (58)
    Japanese - Love some of the frames on NJS Export, but not drilled for a brake. Japanese track frames with a drilled front fork are somewhat rarer ?
    Bob Jackson Vigorelli OTP - Probably my front runner if the waiting list isn't too long. Mid priced and custom to a degree

    Anything else I should be considering ?

  • Just picked up a Roy Manser ( Kent Frame Builder of renoun) 58cm x 58cm Track Frame with Seat Pin,Riveted Saddle,Bottom Bracket, Stem , Bars and Track Chain..
    Yellow paintwork in good condition. Fancy lugwork.
    Roy passed away 18 months ago and I am selling it on behalf of his son.
    Inspect/Collect: Maidstone, ME16 9JT.
