i barely go north anymore - the motorway and multitude of lanes south means the traffic is far more dispersed and so riding is a bit more pleasant. Crow road is a great climb, though.
I'm in the same boat re: fife but am doing this in march, which should be nice.
Yeah-I'm surprised how many people can be bothered with the faff and expense of commuting back and forth on ScotFail.
Some nice rolling roads along the coast to be sure but compared to North of Glasgow? Being able to get 1500m climbing on a fairly quick ride doesn't seem possible on the East coast so it's got nothing on a Tak/Crow double and ripping round the Carron Valley in my book!
I have to admit I've not explored much north of the bridge yet-I imagine that Fife's got a few more lumps to offer.
