The strange thing is that I have never broken a spoke on my fixed bikes either on the road or on the track.
I had a pair of Goldtech hubs on Mavic rims that I used everyday for 5 years without them even going out of true. Dura Ace hubs on Mavic rims again no problem. I figured it was a road wheel thing and I was just doomed to having to put up with this.
My current back wheel has had a spoke broken for 3 months and I have just left it as is :(
