The trump supporters said that the problem was that the media took him too literally.
But he is literally doing all the nutty things he said he was. The idea of him being a Reagan esque president is now looking unlikely.
His isreal outlook is unwinding all the positive move that has taken decades to achieve.

Perhaps, apart from the frivolous and irrelevant bollocks that many people seem to be concentrating on, it's part of Trump's modus operandi to just swamp people with wrongdoing and bad behaviour in order to tire people and to lower standards.
