I've not tried one yet, but I thought it looked more greatful that other designs.
They are pretty, and they work fine if you don't exceed their limits. I had a steel one on my hack bike for about a decade, and replaced it with an SP-248 for purely aesthetic reasons, and the Ti one on my LoPro has been there for 25 years and will be staying. You can make them hold better with some Loctite 638 as long as you're confident about setting the saddle tilt right first time.
As you'll have noticed, there's very little available in silver these days. Ritchey Classic is nice but a bit pricey, Deda RS01 is twice the price of an SP-248 but only worth half as much :)

Have you actually used one of those type seat posts? In my experience, they only hold the saddle tilt reliably if you sit right on top of the axis, any serious nose or tail weight and they rotate out of position.
