Probike step-thru
Should probably just return it for a refund.

Ha I said that but she won't listen

Bicycle Workshop in Notting Hill might help her out.
Problem with these cheap bikes is that a £50 repair bill to make the thing safe looks expensive.
I'm in W2, and I could help you, but working on something like this would be such an exercise in frustration.

I know what you mean. I think it probably doesn't need much to sort, just the right tools and a spoonful of patience.
If you were around on the weekend we could make sure a few beers come your way.. -

I could have a look at it in SE1 around lunch or after 5pm if the bike can make it that far.

It's currently at her home in W2 but I could get her to bring it in tomorrow if that's any good.
We both work at Bankside 2, 100 Southwark Street SE1 0SW -

Can you get some photos for me?

I'll ask her but doubt she can do any until the weekend.
If I get her to bring it in tomorrow can you look at it or on Friday?
Really appreciate you offering
A mate has bought a cheap Probike step-thru, despite me advising her not too.
The seat post won't tighten, the chain slips and now she's lost a pedal.
It's unsafe to ride and needs sorting.
I'd like to help her out but I don't have the tools or the skills.
Anybody know someone we can trust to do a good job and not rip her off?
She's in the W2 area and works in SE1
Cheers
