popped a 512gb ssd in and 8gb of ram and its great for media playing needs. Plays 1080p no problems, I got a small USB external soundcard so could get DTS optical audio over vanilla stereo but that's its only short coming for media playing imo. I even play some basic games on it like FEZ.

Yeah, that's why I was looking at the Intel boxes. They test fast.
If you wanted cheap though, go properly cheap.
