The budget choices are just that, they can be opened up with a pin spanner (or big rock and allen key drift) and only have 2 pawls.
From memory the Shimano are slightly better materials but also 2 pawls, going up again in price to the Halo you get 6 or 4 pawls and doubling the price to WI you get a similar pick up unless you get the Trials freewheel which has faster pick up again.
The cheap ones benefit from a squirt of heavy oil into them. As unsealed bearings.
