Dicta and Sturmy Archer have a wide range of freewheel sizes, and cheap, can be user serviced sort of....
I have a Shimano freewheel to, can't say it's worth the retail compared to the other 2.
Halo clickster is a forum fave.
White industries is spendy but fully rebuildable at cost which steers people back to the Halo.
Should get away with brazing a brake tab to the frame, i would consider a new disc brake ready fork as the frame and fork pre-date disc brakes so not designed to work with them, chat with someone who builds frames before commiting to alterations.
