  • Woop glad it was tasty. Can I drink your homebrew yet?

  • Anyone done the Brewdog Mystery Box?

    Thanks for the heads up!

  • Pour it down the drain mate. The experiment did not work. It's nice initially then it gets a bit goaty from the whey.

  • Here here- can't argue at £1.40 a bottle for a high abv case of goodies delivered to your door.

  • Nothing of note in the Mystery Box. Quite a few of the bottles and cans were 660ml instead of the usual 330ml. Lots of the regulars, then Hoppy Xmas and Santa Paws. Also the Hardcore Imperial.

Really good value. Would recommend. Free next day delivery too.

  • And the Vagabond Gluten free which will come in handy when some of the wifes friends pop round and don't want wine

  • survive the journey to India back when we colonised it

    That's a myth too.

  • I hit 2500 distinct beers today on Untapped. It was Strikes & Gutters, a White Russian Imperial Milk Stout at 10%, drunk on a after work Friday at my favourite pub.

I think karma smiled on me for that one. 😇

  • Santa Paws is very very good.

  • Theres no real conclusive evidence either way. Is a cool story.

Would love to know your top 3 beers from last year...

  • Thats amazing, what is your highest rated?

  • There are six that got 5 out 5.

Titanic Brewery - Chocolate and Vanilla Stout

    Kent Brewery - Elderflower Saison

Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project - Jack D'Or

Dark Star - Imperial Stout (2008)

Magic Rock - The Big Top

Oude Gueuze Tilquin a L'Ancienne - Gueuzerie Tilquin

  • I deleted untapped at 1000 Beers.

  • Oak & Dagger by Vocation. After a weeks break, what a way to get going again. Excellent.

  • On the Rodenbach Alexander. Tasty cherry and almond with a tartness at the end.

  • Belhaven stout is amazing!!

  • Yep, it's incredible. You need to stick to the type you got, ie. the 330ml bottle, strong version. There's a weaker version in 500ml, but this is by far the best.

  • Very much enjoying Siren's Primal Cut

  • Haven't had much beer in the US yet. Almanac's Hoppy Sour: Citra was pretty good though, had the brewery recommended as a stop when we get to SF along with Cellarmaker Brewing Co.

  • ^ you'll be ticking them off soon enough, enjoy.

Hawkshead Tonka here. Like drinking pipe tobacco, hard work.

  • Snap. On the Tonka too.

  • tasting event last night, this was one of the nicest

  • Popped into Figueroa Mountain brewing in Santa Barbara last night, tried a few including Sleeper in the Rye, everything was good and the venue had a good vibe. Quite a few places nearby that looked to be brewing or bringing in decent beer.

Might call into Central Coast Brewing later, no idea what it's like but it's half a mile from the motel...

  • Wow! Stone Xococveza is fucking lovely!

    Winter Spiced Mocha Stout (8.1%)

  • Has anyone tried Verdant's beers yet?? They got named best new brewery in 2016. Pulp is delicious!
