Clattenberg and his big team bias. Total bottle job

• #134132
Are you admitting Liverpool are a little team then?
-
• #134133
We are a pathetic bunch of failures

You need to move on to 'next season will be our season now'.
-
• #134135
Yes. The long road to recovery starts now.
It's funny Liverpool's premier League season seems to exactly mirror my yearly mood swings. I get really bad Seasonal Affective Disorder and come January I literally just want to die but come Spring it's all rosy again. I wonder if Liverpool as a club have a similar problem -

A draw would be best. A Liverpool win second best.

• #134137
Feels odd wanting Liverpool to win.

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message 'He is Dead'.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves. He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.watch out chelsea

watch out chelsea
I am sure we shall. If we win tomorrow we will be 13 points ahead of Liverpool with 13 games remaining. We have dropped 13 points in the first 26 games. We have two of the top six sides to play.
If we lose to Burnley, however, it is Liverpool's to loose.

Well that wasn't what I was expecting...
Got overrun by Liverpool, 2nd best all game, and looked surprisingly fragile under pressure...
If Chelsea win today and go 12 points clear @WornCleat can take his plucky underdog status and shove it. It's Chelsea's title to lose, and I look forward to pointing out the bottle job of bottle jobs if they choke it away...
They won't but I live in hope...
We did ourselves no favours, but Liverpool looked back to the team that started the season... -

Massive game today. Absolutely must win to stay in the race. If we fail, the title race is wide open and we will be dropping like a stone. Burnley are impressive, particularly at home and will be very hard to beat. It may come down to bringing Fabregas on with 20 minutes to go to break open the defence. Real danger on counter and from set pieces.
Very close at the top. All the title contenders bar one are within two points of each other. Most wide open title race for years.
Anyway, if we win today, we are safe from relegation (other than possible goal difference.) Must achieve that as a minimum this season. As a crisis club, it would be devastating to be relegated.
Probably a resurgent Liverpool's to loose.

Barring disaster (our annus horribilis is still very much in my mind) we have a great chance of qualifying for the CL next season... Nice run of games coming up, we just need to stay on target...
This team still has a lot of improvement left in it, great things to come from this group of players under The Count...

under The Count...
Please don't. That is very Spursy.

It's all gone a bit quiet at the Emirates...
