The screws were holding the piece of plastic on the right hand side of my first picture to the underside of the saddle. You could possibly run the saddle without this fitted but it would be very flexy.

35 gramms added (leather and glue) So i shaved of 120gr from original state.

I made a mistake.The Extra when is stripped is a Composit shape not Forma.

That looks really good. Extra's are relatively cheap to get new too. What kind of glue did you use?

Pattex Classic contact adhesive(german),it is strong.If you make a mistake and press it together the wrong way,you are almost f***ed.

hmm I'd guess ive done aroun 8-10k on mine. Feels good. Ive also tried dynamic, hell and the china copy smps but they dont work for me (dynamic feels narrow, hell too wide + soft).

Received my knock-off today. Feels pretty solid and looks alright.

Some knock off full carbon ones available on ebay purporting to be the real thing and certainly look similar so could be worth a try. Guessing the listing might not last given the blatant pretence.
