Well I'll most likely be getting a caad12 disc frameset in a month or so. Until then if anyone is selling one please give me a shout, I'd rather buy second hand

You are welcome to try mine- I am 187cm and ride a 56, and have never suffered with front disc rub at my fattest of 82kg, with a DTSwiss 9mm thru-axle/qr

Might have to scuff your seatpost a little by lowering it though haha

• #7483
I am 180cm with obscurely long arms, both my supersix and CAAD12 are 54cm with 130mm stems
(Excuse shit CAAD12 picture)

and I'm partial to a belgian beer
Bring your bikes to my place and we'll all ride the 380 K "Tour des Trappistes" (tour through the Belgian Ardennes passing 4 of the 6 Belgian Trappist breweries). :-)

• #7488
Haha that eacalated quickly
-
• #7489
Gotta admit it's a good offer. Forum Trappist brewery ride. Sounds great.

You couldn't do me a big favour and measure bottom bracket to your saddle rails could you? I know crank lengths/different saddles etc but just so I can get a ballpark figure. Looks about my choice of fit, saddle height and bar drop wise. But I would like the stem slammed so maybe a 56 would work fine too.

there's a 6-700 K ride too visiting 8 Trappist breweries (there's only 12 worldwide...).

a dented CAAD10?! The first dent is where the tubing is coke can-like.
-
• #7494
Dents aren't well described or well photo'd. Could be fine. Could not. at £150 that's kinda priced in.

centre of BB to the top of my saddle is 790mm - i would guess 770ish to the rails (can measure properly this eve). I'm running about 110mm drop which is less than on my supersix.
I'm using the stock C2 carbon post on the CAAD12 and there's certainly still plenty in the frame - the 12 lends itself to this kinda setup with the seat tube being longer than the supersix.

Interesting, thanks. I'm currently at 770 to the top so this has me thinking maybe a 54cm would be good for me too. I'm so confused.

• #7497
This has got to be the worst attempt at bike fit. Thank god Ed hasn't seen this yet.
-
• #7498
FWIW I am 170cm with 81cm inseam and I ride a 54cm CAAD10 with conical spacer and 120mm stem.
-
• #7499
I don't know my inseam. I think about 88/89?

Hah that's good
181 cm and 54cm suspersix with 125 stem, 5mm spacer and zero stack cap. I do have also caad5 56 and its good fit with slammed but 100 mm stem.
