• Don't think so. There was an option to turn of Auto-Zero on the 800, but Garmin removed it as part of one of it's 'updates', for your comfort, convenience and increased device-using pleasure. Fairly sure it's never made a come-back.

  • Well, it's not available as a feature on the current firmware on an 810, 1000 or 500. However, I'm not sure that it's actually necessary once you've turned off auto zero. My understanding is that the 'turn off auto zero' function is the head unit telling the power meter not to bother with any more auto zeroing, and having been told that, the power meter stops doing it (if you can switch it off - on some like a P2M you can't). I think that once you've turned it off with a suitable head unit (like a Joule or Joule GPS for a Powertap) you can then use any headunit and the auto-zero function on the power meter will remain off. Could be wrong though, so feel free to ignore.

  • It was an option on Fenix 3... until Garmin removed it.
