Have a rating question myself...
I'm having a complete clear out and where I can rate most of my bikes pretty correct, I'm struggling a bit with this one...
It's a pretty rare 1987 Mino Denti Master (crimped top- and downtube, chromed rear triangle and forks, chromed lugs, cut-out in the seattube to put the rear wheel more to the front). It has no dings or dents, no rust, just the usual paintchips. I would rate it 7,5/10. Comes with a first generation Campa Chorus.
Any idea about a reasonable price?

Thinking of selling My Genesis Volare 853, with Enve forks, Ultegra 6800 groupset, Dura Ace C24 wheels, Enve seatpost, Fizik Antares saddle, Zipp handlebars. How much are we looking at?

Friend of a friend has found this in the back of a shed, I have no idea of the frame sizing or the groupset, but was wondering if any bianchi fans would know what it might be worth??
I'm thinking not much, but I don't do retro/vintage, so don't want to burst the bubble too soon.
Apologies for the quality of the picture..

I've never seen suicide levers on any bike worth a damn and the cranks look "modest" too.
So I'm going with £30 on a good day, on the basis that anything half decent would have half decent kit on it.

Any ideas on a campag record Ti mini 10 speed group? Carbon levers though the ratchet in the right lever doesn't... ratchet. Still shifts though, just no feedback.
Rear derailleur has a limit screw rounded and can't therefore get up onto the largest cog, I assume this can be fixed.
Front derailleur works fine, carbon cages etc. No brakes or cranks -

Selling a pretty huge carbon build! It's a bit big for my upper body, so looking to get something smaller - no idea what it's worth so as its got a bit of an odd mish mash of parts...

Hi. Lately I bought one bike over the limit and now one of my other bikes have to go. I'm having problems valuing the bike tho. It's a (probably) 1976 Pep Magni ICS frame in size 56 cm. the frame is fully chromed and the paint is cromovelato blue. The frame has some scratches (biggest on seat stays) but is straight, no dents. The frame would come with Campagnolo Super Record crankset tuned by ICS (Mexico style, pantoed), Campy Record ICS chainrings and ICS tuned Campy DT shifters. There are also Super Record brake levers, very good condition 3ttt cockpit. In the pictures you can see Nuovo Record derailleurs and brake calipers. They are also in great condition.
Here's the photo of it as it stands:
What do you guys think this lot is worth? I was thinking 800€? Please tell me what you think!
PS. Here's the link to an album with more detailed pictures:

ICS is sought after, so your price doesn't sound ridiculous.
It's also quite scarce which makes it difficult to compare prices.
If you're happy with that value, then add a little for haggling and stick it on eBay with the "make an offer" option enabled.
The best person to speak to is no longer on here, but you can get hold of him via saarf.net.

It's very nice and I think that you would easily get 800€.

Hello, what do you guys think I could sell an almost complete dura ace 7402 groupset, in very good condition, consisting of:
- 7402 hubs laced to Mavic GP4 sprint rims, with dura ace cassette and vittoria tubs (not pictured)
- 7402 Crankset,
- 7402 Derailleurs (front is 7403),
- 7400 bb (njs stamped),
- 7402 brake levers and calipers,
- 7402 gear levers,
- 7402 27.2 seatpost (not pictured),
- Dura Ace chain and brake cables.
I was thinking £350 without shipping (as I live abroad)? Is it overpriced/underpriced?
Thanks in advance.

I would say that your price was good. Ebay has similar groups with no wheelset selling around 220—280 with some having the sti's. Yours looks in good condition.
I suppose it depends on where you want to sell it and the shipping costs to the buyer. -

Great, thanks for the advice! I think I'll try selling it on here and if it doesn't work on evilbay afterwards..

Hi guys,
what you think a 1996 Cinelli Supercorsa frame (Columbus Neuron tubing) is worth?
Cons:
- it has the usual paintchips but one BIG scratch on the toptube (it didn't bother me...)
- former owner took off the front derailleur braze on (I used a band on C Record and it worked quite well)
- forks aren't original Cinelli (chromed Columbus Cromor)
Pros
- it has no dings or dents
- chrome (forks, lugs) is still perfect
- it rides like hell
- it's a Cinelli
- it's a Supercorsa....
you think 500 (euro) is overpriced?

I have a set of American classic 420 track wheels.
A couple of scratch and an extremely light brake mark on the front wheel.
The thread for the lock ring has also been sloght scuffed from a shitty mechanic in a shop. What do you think they could fetch?

I'm thinking about selling my complete road bike. Current money issues combined with a lingering injury that I wont likely make a 100% recovery from and an increasingly stressfull work load and family life (yeah poor me right?) means I dont really ride at all anymore.
So I've came to the decide that all the dough I have tied up in bloody bikes needs to be freed.
I have a 58cm S-works Tarmac SL3 frameset built up with a full DA9000 groupset inc cassette and pedals, Ritchey c260 carbon stem, Fsa carbon seat post and 40mm full carbon American Classic Carbon 40 clincher wheelset.
The DA9000 group set is pretty low milage at about 1000miles and so are the wheels. Whats the DA9000 groupset worth alone? Havent seen many full da900 groupsets up for sale anywhere.
Would rather sell complete though so wouldnt mind hearing some realistic prices for the whole bike. I dont mind saying its a bloody nice bike and it really pains me to sell it considering how much money I've spent on it.

Anyone know what's a reasonable price to ask for a Lejeune track frame and fork?Built by Francois Du Toit in 653 tubing. He still runs a bike shop in South Africa.
I like it, but it's smaller than it was advertised (sold as a 56cm square, which is already too small for me) so not worth shelling out for the necessary repairs.
if it's not worth much to anyone I'll likely keep it in the basement of my parents house and get it repaired when I've got some spare cash
Details:
54cm (cc) square
Paint ratty with a fair few paint chips. Some surface rust but nothing serious. Frame straight, threads good.Bad: toptube has suffered a dent, and seems to have a crack. Winston Vaz has taken a look at it and advised its safe to ride but should be kept under observation. The position where the crack is wouldnt result in sudden failure. I've ridden it like this for several months and not had any problems or noticed anything going on. As it won't be me riding it I'll advise to get it repaired.
Vaz has 653 tubing in 1inch to replace the top tube, the work would cost £90 to complete.
27.2 seatpost, 120 / 100mm spacing.
Not drilled for brakes, space for 23c tyres max on the front. Tange bsc threaded bottom bracket shell, and Shimano tracks ends.
Here's when I had it in fixie skiddr mode:

How much is a WH-7850 Dura Ace Carbon Clincher front worth? Brake Track is straight and not grooved at all, so haven't seen too much of use
Rear lacks freehub and axle so I will use it as a rim only.

I got this Colner Bike, mainly for the campa bits and I'm planning to sell the frame. It's got chromed campa drop outs, is likely made out of columbus sl, according to this link whih shows the same bike: https://www.steel-vintage.com/colner-classic-bicycle-1970s-detail The bike was used on a roller trainer, no dings or dents, will clean it up in the next couple weeks but I was wondering what would be a fair price.

I bought a mountain bike a few years ago and swapped out the suspension fork straight after getting it (it's probably done about 5 miles from my flat to the bike shop where I got it swapped out).
The fork is a RockShox Recon Gold RL air, 100mm. 26" wheel, disc post-mount. They looked to be about £400 new a few years ago, any suggestions what it's worth now? The world of mountain bike components is a mystery to me. Cheers

A change of circumstance has prompted the possible sale of my freshly rebuilt Roberts Lo Pro. No idea its value to be honest.
Frame is in fairly decent condition a few chips here and there so not perfect. From my research I'd take an amateur guess that the tubing is probably Columbus SL (Seat tube 27.2) but I'm open to be shot down. Some nice fillet brazing on it too.
Dura Ace hubs on Wolber rims (650 front), good condition Shimano 600 Tricolor throughout that i've just replaced the old set with, Campagnolo threaded headset. Only thing I haven't changed are the Shimano 600 brakes that were on it as the original bolts have seized (due to the condition I bought it in) and I haven't felt the need to remove them.
Cinelli Tempo bars and Cinelli stem.
Just want an idea of value to see whether this would trigger the need to sell it. Not really that keen to do so but sometimes we have to do what we don't want to do. Any help you have would be great.
Cheers

Aw man, so nice tho!
what a pity, @SideshowBob
difficulty with them older frames is that a partial respray (of the "affected area") results in an area that looks too new compared to the (already slightly discoloured) rest of the frame.
