Thanks @Ramsaye, real answer is badgers or magnets though I'm sure.

I picked up a pair of racing Ralph, I was sort of overwhelmed with all the tyre options, so I'll try these at the weekend and if I think I could do with some cornering assistance I'll get an additional Rocket Ron as @Howard suggested.

Just let some air out, you'll be amazed what a 2 psi reduction does.

Also try tubeless or if that is too much faff try latex inners.

Don't worry too much about finding tyres with aggressive knobs in cyclo-cross. They tend to ride MTBs so are shopping in a different part of the shop.
