Would they not just each have a level rotary? I quite often don't bother with the x fader when i'm playing, and just use the line faders.

I keep both my line faders up and crossfade just because it's the way I've always done it... Old dog and all that...

My mixer (this isn't my actual mixer, mine's a bit dustier)... My sister bought this new in the 80s, I inherited it when she quit DJ-ing... I fucking love this machine...
