Yeah, it's a biggun. I'm hoping to get the cash before they sell out. Only 50 made. The quality of work on the movement is top notch for a watch that costs a grand.
I think part of the appeal to me is that is the first movement I learned to disaasemble and reassemble.
Have a read about it on the tinefactors site. A lot of thought went into it.
Cracking watch, but 44mm though, innit?
36mm isn't exactly a traditional flieger size, so I was getting at watches that share the aesthetic, but in a wearable size. Not that 44mm is unwearable, of course.
