Nope. It's about the colour of the paint, the dent that it makes in your wallet, whether the people you ride with will be judging you on the price & material of your frame...AND finally whether you are crit racing or not.
That one is carbon or alu is neither here nor there - they will both feel the same - if not sound the same - once you've fitted 28mm rubber at 55psi...
