too bad about those sizes!
how much do you charge for a paint job? I think I'd have to get a respray on the 2016 volare if I went with it. Or a supersix evo.
have emailed paligap and CSG.

Alright folks - I think I'm too emotionally attached to the idea of a Ritchey (£1035, 49cm).
But at the right price Volare (XS) and/or Supersix (48cm). I could probably source both for the price of the Ritchey. And get them resprayed.
Gotta keep eyes peeled.

Supersix (48cm)...And get them resprayed.
Voids the Cannondale warranty. Bad idea if you buy new IMHO. Try to find used or avoid if respray is a must.

That's good to know! And yeah, I'd want to get those used/older versions. I don't like paying for new things! Recycle/repair revolution and all of that.

Prices can vary so much depending on design. My minimum charge is £300 for steel/alloy.
Email me for more accurate quoting! -

They have a 51cm one here http://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/frames-forks-c6/road-touring-frames-c47/wcs-road-logic-frameset-p17368

Nah you need the smaller one or end up with a bad neck and sore arms.
49 is for life🙏 -

Amen.

Here you go, 49cm available by the look of it, although a bit more than Acycles.

Effective top tube is 14 mm longer, but the slacker seat tube renders the reach only 5 mm longer.
I don't know...

Called CSG. Apparently, they don't distribute the SuperSix Evo in a 48cm in the UK. This must be a new development...
-
• #64
Have you tried PAUL's cycles they had shed loads of cannondales last year .
-
• #65
Might be worth asking Evans - they get their stuff from Cannondale Europe IIRC so not CSG.

• #66
New Bowman comes in a very small size https://bowman-cycles.com/product/palace-r/#geometry
-
• #67
@Howard - Evans said they couldn't do it either.
@macaroon - those bowmans are niiiice. I'm actually going to meet up with a guy from Bowman to try out the 50cm. Though aluminum. Hashtag steelisreal.
My other option is @roadwarrior's old volare 10-- Reynolds 725. But with a nice full carbon fork and a respray it might be a great project. And cheaper than all the rest.

Been to measure it and its 51.5 top tube centre to centre.

What lengh are those crank arms?
-
• #70
Jesus !!! Up the stairs again ....
172.5 . If your midget arms match your legs then you need 170 or similar cranks. -
• #71
The Bowman will be light/fast etc
The Genesis frame will weigh about double, although it is steel and cheap.... -
• #72
Bowman's are harsh apparently.

Still in hibernation until spring 👙
I had to change the bb late one night last year . Cannt do that with a bb30 . Ten minute job .

Bowman's are harsh apparently.
Where did you hear that?
I also have a Genesis Volare (albeit 953) awaiting bits to build it up, and I must grudgingly admit it's one of the nicest put together steel frames I've ever seen.
