  • Does this mean you stuck to the 20mph limit through New Cross today then? ;)

  • On a pedal cycle? Do you even road traffic act bro?

Dem rulez don't cut no ice with us.

  • I normally find TFL's twitter account is quite pro-active in dealing with these issues.

  • As a responsible motorbike rider, I always stick to the speed limit anyway... probably.

  • It's an elastic band, pound land is even cheaper. FWIW I wouldn't attach a child's toy joke phone to a child's tricycle with either of those two pieces of shit.

Found myself unable to stop myself looking at some manky bit of skin coming out of the back of some guys top ear ring thing on the bus the other day. It was so disgusting i managed to stop looking eventually but not before i decided that it was time to get back on the bike.. maybe tomorrow..

  • FWIW I wouldn't attach a child's toy joke phone to a child's tricycle with either of those two pieces of shit.

you used one? cos every review i've seen seems to rate it quite high.

  • I asked the security guards in the carpark at work if they mind me using the firehose to wash my bike and they said it was all cool. I felt a bit nervous using a high-pressure nozzle to shoot off muckoff and degreaser next to a £240k Ferarri but I tell you what my bike is cleaner than it has been in aaaages and it took about 1/10 the time.

  • I have one of those, works really well. use it on my bike and my motorbike, never had any problems.

  • Thanks for useful input n3il

  • Pumped my Brompton tyres up before setting off from work. From a measly 60psi to a rock-hard 100. Free speed!

  • I usually keep it 80psi, surprisingly easy to wheel spin a Brompton in the muddy Surrey road.

  • With your sick watts, maybe. Still on for tomorrow?

  • Just had a guy in a Robert Heath branded van chuck a bottle out the window at me after I took annoyance to him cutting me up.

Didn't get a reg but worth reporting to police? Will be sending a very strongly worded email to the company.

Your van has your branding on it are you dumb...

  • Have reported. Anyone sees that company's van say rude things to the person in it plz

  • I was there last week when they opened the one on Bayswater Rd going into Hyde Park and there were a few guys from TFL standing by it. I sat through two sets of lights before asking if they were actually working, they weren't too confident when replying "yeah they do, they're just a bit slow", so ever since I've jumped them.

  • Hit+run right in the middle of camden. Police useless as ever even with Camden being hailed for saying they might do stuff.

Got soaked in the rain on the way back too.

  • Good that you had a camera, same happened to me a while ago and the driver didn't stop... he/she proper took me out though!

  • is the BBC Forecast devoid of any accuracy - last night at 9pm forecast of 4 degrees light cloud, actual this morning , 1 degree and sleeting for 3 hours now - new forecast on their site is sleet/rain all day - can you really be THAT wrong in the matter of a few hours - theres a bloody CRAY computer predicting the models isnt their????

edit - ps - i got soaked - and will get soaked again going home in soggy cold wet gear!

  • The Accuweather app is where it's at! BBC weather can do one.

  • I've found Dark Sky to be more accurate than BBC or Accuweather, and hooking it up to Slack is pretty useful. Don't even need to check the weather, I'm automatically told of any incoming rain before leaving work :)

  • AIX weather widget is very nice too. Minimalist and useful. I also use Chronus as homescreen clock and weather, you can choose which weather provider you want, Accuweather is one of the options.

Just downloaded the Accuweather app and tried to place 4x1 widget on homescreen but it fails - no error. Have tried other 4x1 widgets in the same place and they work fine. Is it a shit app?

  • 1 hour before home time and my no waterproof gear has just started to dry out on the works radiator , its still raining , someone tell me its ok to get the train home instead?

ps. its a 35K commute home

pps. did i mention the rain

  • your point being?

    #jusride
ps i got a 35km ride home too
