Some sort of hair trimming device. Don't worry, it's not compulsory, I'm 43 and never been near one.

Cranks came very quickly:
Logos are a bit rubbed so I think they'll get the acetone treatment.

Spot the mistake.
BB is on back order, narrow wide is enroute, just need to decide what length cage derailleur I need and what size cassette.
Thinking long cage and maybe 42-12.
Also will be getting jagwire elite link and the Yokozuna reaction cables are not easy to come by and the only stockist never replied to me about the restocking date.

I was wondering about the link cables. How come "nobody" uses them - as they are a compressionless, as brake housing?
-
• #40
Expensive?
-
• #41
Oh man - I just found some current prices. I guess you are right. More than 100£ for gear and brake cables, when you can have their pro-compressionless-set for less than 40£ :O
-
• #42
Also heard they were pretty hard to install so I'm interested to hear how you get on with it
-
• #43
Ugly af?
-
• #44
I'm just getting brake, no need for gear.
-
• #45
I'm just wondering if on a muddy bike if they're a good idea of if they're going to get creaky
-
• #46

Little update. This has some what fallen by the wayside as I was busy finishing my Genesis. I got the the cables I was after, in black too none the less (thanks @jb xoxox), and I got a chainring:
However I found out too late that one has to remove the spider to effectively tighten one the chain-ring bolts. Which found me milling off the head of the mullered stainless bolt, I think neatly drilled a pilot hole for the bolt extractor, threaded it in aaaaand the tip snapped off...
So I've done what I should have in the first place and ordered a new crank with a 42t x-sync charinring - looking on the bright-side I have a spare 110 spider, chain ring and NDS crank arm should I ever need it...
I also sold my macho man so this is back in my priority list as I need something to ride
