Dig it! Wish Such a balanced bike.
Still figuring out position after the @stedlocks bar invasion.

Cheers! That bike looks like an awesome bikepacker, the cages on the sides of the pizza rack are a nice touch!
I haven't been able to test the bar position thoroughly but generally I find that bars with lots of sweep feel better with the bar ends pointing down a little bit

Yeah it seems like I'm progressively pushing the bars down. The frame is super old school though so orangutan reach on it.
Need to figure out position after getting rid of the layback. Single bolt is.....twitchy. -

With the stedlocks bar, I always find it comfy to tip it towards you a bit, and play from there :0)

More HHSMTB then Monsteur.

The thread has generally turned into normal mountain bikes with drop bars, mountain bikes with slicks and mudguards and big clearance cross bikes. The original brief on page 1 was lost by about page 3...
I'm as guilty as any and not necessarily complaining.
It seems to be the FBNPNA thread but the tyre width must be over 2.0 and the bike not that functional... -

I think it's kind of a mix, personally.
Admittedly doesn't have the functionality of a lot of the fully-geared, racklyfe bikes in here, but it's a bastard of a bike with pretty fat tires, drop bars, and looks like it'd be a blast offroad.
Just needs a longer stem.
