  • So much better isn't it? I especially like how you can hide the cable in, and the cable tension adjuster, mean I can do away with a barrier adjuster between the handlebar and downtube/headtube.

    Think Sora is the same too.

  • R3000 is well different, still pretty close to the conventional FR shimano design. The selling point in my opinion are the shifters, other than missing two clicks, I couldn't find any difference between them and 5800!

    On the 9100 I was hugely impressed by the chain tensioner on the RD, you could keep the same chain length to run 11-28 and 11-30 (I dare to say even a 11-32 won't cause any issue), so you can swap cassette in a matter of minutes. Plus super short cable housing... so good!
