Very nice those two.

@Dale_cannon Lovely pairing. Everyone should own a Seiko diver once, so much watch for the money. The long lost cousins say hisashiburi.

I was very tempted by a Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium for a while until I noticed the placement of the date window and now I can't look at it without that bugging me.

Getting in on the act, still loving my 775.

I can't be the only one who read those in the voice of the old BBC football results announcer, right?

Lovely Seiko divers on display. I'm still amazed by the quality especially on the SKX.
What are people's experience/opinions of Creation Watches?
Very cheap but I've read online about dubious customer service and the possibility of them selling seconds.
Have people been charged import tax or not?
-
• #21433
I've used them a number of times with no problems and no import tax (although it's always a risk). Delivery is very quick usually. Some of the stuff isn't as cheap as it used to be with the drop of the pound, I recently got a G-Shock cheaper from Argos than there so it's worth checking.

I got my 775 from them. No issues to report
-

I've had a bunch of watches from them. They all arrived within 3 or 4 days, all perfect condition and no problems.
I've read the same things you have about the hassle it can be to return something faulty to them, so I'd be reluctant to spend any more than a few hundred pounds on a single watch with them.
Haven't paid any import duties, but all mine came from Singapore. I understand they have an operation in Japan for dispatching Japanese domestic market watches, and people often have to pay duties on those.

Thanks for everyone's info on Creation.
Is anyone thinking of selling anything interesting before I pull the trigger on an SKX? £200 ish.
-
• #21440
I would sell my SKX013 for £125 with bracelet and G10/NATO straps. Boxed. Great nick.

Hi, do you have a picture or two?

Just seen this, it's one of the 90th anniversary special editions of 250 from Stowa:
40mm, NOS Durowe 7526-4 automatic movement. Really lovely. If it was 36mm...
-
• #21443
Speaking of Stowa 36mm watches, I've never noticed this before:
Perfection. Compare to the IWC 36mm Pilot's watch at less than a third of the price, with the same movement.

My mate's creaming over that at the moment.

Compare.

Meh, if I was to buy a pilot it'd be this. A lot of watch for the money. Awesome mod to the movement too. When you hack it, the second hand continues on until the 12 position. Quite impressive for a mod to a non hacking movement. Sploosh.

That's a 'Big Pilot', isn't it? (Daft name, daft price). I was thinking of this:

Cracking watch, but 44mm though, innit?
36mm isn't exactly a traditional flieger size, so I was getting at watches that share the aesthetic, but in a wearable size. Not that 44mm is unwearable, of course.

Thin 38 as low as I go...

Purchased from @Technics100 only 3 months ago. Pics in this thread (sorry on a mobile) I've only worn it with NATO and it's in same nick as those pics.
Finally scratched the SKX itch and bought a 171 modded with a 007 bezel and a Srapcode Super Oyster bracelet & treated the PADI to a Bonetto Cinturini 284.
Just want a stock 007 to use when I'm away with work now.
