I remember drinking a Fosters Pilsner in the late 90s that I liked. I thought it was called extra, but no one seems to remember it. Maybe I'm making it up.

No, it was a thinner, taller glass with a clear sticker on it with white writing, I think. I'm really beginning to think there never was one now.

No such luck. It was a dark brown bottle. I'm going to have a look later. It was definitely a pilsner, it wasn't out for very long. Anyway, it was the only Fosters I didn't mind.

Only reason I didn't buy both was my local shop only had the Pale.

It was what I used to drink when I couldn't get Mountain Goat.

Lovells? Never seen that. Or if I have I've forgotten about it.

It's from Sydney. Must be a micro brewery somewhere around the city. I started seeing it at my local, and nearby pubs on tap. The only time I saw it in the bottle was once down in Melbourne about 10 years ago. Not sure if it's still about.

Anyway, will have to drop in to Wests drinks soon seeing as I live...... west, and have been meaning to for a while now.

I had a look on untappd and it looks like it was small batch.

Red Lion refurb completed,
back open as usual.
Hamrack asked, kitchen knocked through from adjacent pizzeria to space behind bar,
allowing swift delivery of piping hot freshly cooked pizzas to pubsters.

Amazing. Hopefully, I'll be over again soon.
