  • You'd find a buyer through the Veteran Cycle Club, but that might take ages, as their magazine is quarterly. It may be worth trying one of those Raleigh/vintage collectors'groups on Facebook or some such place. Strange it hasn't sold, because that amber Humber is the rarest of the Raleigh/Rudge/Humber Clubman set and a few months ago there was a beat-up, "spares and repair" example, which sold for £hundreds on ebay. I suppose luck and timing plays a part.

  • As you said and Iv seen a few go for several hundreds and they didn't look in any worse condition then mine, I'll probably advertise on the veteran cycle club and cycling magazines see how it gets on there, as much as it's in the way I'll hold on until I get a fair offer on it as iv read the flamboyant Amber Humber is a rare bike nowadays.
