Didn't get chance to go to paintshop, landlord trouble/looking for somewhere to live took priority. But I'm pretty certain it'll be olive green ral 6003.

May be getting another frameset soonish, so if anybody is interested this may be for sale. frame/ fork, d-fuse carbon seatpost, 105 front derailleur, rs500 50/34 chainset and bb. Let me know if you're interested.

what frame are you getting? give me a shout if you are splitting the narrow wide front ring.. :-)

11spd 11-32. Ran 10spd 11-28 with 40t ring on the day one, good for everything apart from the steeper hills of the Peak District.

Frameset arrived today. Just ordered Ultegra running gear, hopefully will arrive before I ride behind the peleton on stage 3 of ToB on Tuesday. Love a new bike day.

As far as I've got, until bits arrive, hopefully Monday.

Bits have arrived, attacked with vengeance whilst watching ToB, bits attacked back, bloodied hands and an emergency dash to lbs, and she's done, pics to follow, maybe tomorrow.

Cheers. First commute this morning. Brakes need tinkering with, ultegra is a lovely groupset, shifting is light and quick, looks pretty good too.

Not a great pic, but you get the idea. Will take better ones on my Sunday ride.

Little loop round my way. Nice when the suns out. First proper ride today, ultegra is so smooth, need to fettle front derailleur, other than that, perfect.

Just the 11-32 11spd that came with the Defy, oh and a Sram 1170 chain.

Planning ahead for a build later in the year, or maybe early next year, just gathering parts as I can afford them.
Gonna run 1x10 with shimano downtube shifter, front ring will be 42t (as I already have one) and possibly 105 long cage r/d, so what's the biggest cassette I could run?

If you dont need the gears to be indexed you could run a mtb derailleur and pick any cassette you want. Not sure how big cassettes a 10s shimano road derailleur could clear. 32t?
