Time Trial / Time Trialling / TT

I'm not overly worried, but I've got used to the looks of my felt being all stealthy and black, so if it does completely replace it I don't mind the £150 or so it'll cost to get it painted matt black.

Does anyone have any experience of the Zipp extension bars and how they might compare to the USE Tula?

I used to have some of the carbon race bend extensions, liked the shape. Prefer alu though, as carbon gets too warm, if that makes sense?

What's the most cost effective 1x chainring, want min 53t, ideally 5 bolt 110bcd but have a 110bcd 4 bolt shimano chain set I could nick off another bike...

I haz Zipp race bend alu for sellz, so you can try them for yourself without having to pay full price.

I have Zipps on my ultra bike. They work. Would buy again. In fact, I did buy again, after I wanted the pads and sold the first set of extensions to tester thinking I'd not need them.

You could buy one of my Fibrelyte rings. They're done full aero to suit DA9000 4-bolt cranks.
Think I still have a 51T and 55T.

I'm after the ski bend ('Evo' I think they call it) as I've already got some Profile Design bars in a similar shape which I don't like too much.

If you're getting it painted, make sure you research the textured paint route. Trip socks for your bike.

Textured paint? How does that work? I mean, I understand how it would work but is anyone knowledgeable enough to paint in the right spots?

My guess is that the placement will be pretty specific to the frame, but having owned a fleet of various Cervelos I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a good idea where to put the texture on a P2.
