Quite agree. I think we should celebrate women that inspire us and am looking forward to this thread being populated with images of our inspirational women before midnight

Don't let it put you off, I think this thread should challenge people to try something new with photography. This theme was meant to be a challenge. It was for me.

I think the theme is a good one. Just haven't had time to take pics this week.

Managed to find inspiration at the last moment.

The Woman of Willendorf
A pottery replica of the Woman of Willendorf - One of the prehistoric 'Venus Statues' given to me by a group of #inspirational_women I was digging (of the archaeological variety) with in Poland.
Taken 2017/01/29 on a Nikon D3100, cropped and resized in IrfanView

I have nothing much. Theresa M wouldn't return my calls, Katie H was too busy and it's complicated with Victoria B.
So here's a grave. If you don't know about her she is worth reading about, she had quite a life.
