Lost my cheap Chinese prescription rayban sunglasses, where's the best uk place to get rayban frames and then prescription tinted lenses put in them?

My lovely soho opticians are nice but pricey...

Any decent prescription cycling sunnies recommendations? Don't really want to spend 300 on Oakleys. Had bodged aliexpress ones for far too long now.

Smith Optics V90 Max - anyone know if they have photochromatic option?

Or other big, frame-free glasses for TTing that have photochromic lenses?

Where's good for getting prescription sunnies online?

I prefer my fake half blade to my fake regular ones. Easier to see stuff in your peripheral vision, handy when you're doing a quick shoulder check or whatever.

The ones I received from aliexpress were really good quality too. I agree the lower portion of the frame gets in the way a bit when shoulder checking.

Are you talking about the POC ones? Are they polarized? I'm tempted to grab some but there seem to be no reviews on Aliexpress which is making me hesitate

Mine came with four lenses, can't remember if any are polarised, I can check later. I think its the same four lenses that come with most fauxkleys, clear, yellow, smoke (polarised?) and some kind of iridium.

Probably gonna get flamed for this, but found some ace glasses at Uniqlo for only £12.90. They tick all the boxes, great fit, wrap the eyes, and great field of vision, plus they fit nicely under a helmet.

Black seemed to be on there when I checked just now. Thought 'sod it' and pulled the trigger anyway as had coupons through e-mail.

I'm told I have a big head (sometimes), but they might be worth a try-on in-store if you get a chance.

Got a pair of bbb polarised glasses for -£30, not designed for riding per se but fine on the bike. £30 for polarised lenses is not to be sniffed at. Impressed
