I also think this policy is intended to whip up sentiment against the judiciary, same as has happened here re the Art 50 vote.
If he can cow the media and the judiciary, there aren't really any checks left on Trump.
He's got a couple of slots for senior judges coming up for appointment has he not?
Ironically America may end up actually needing the second amendment as intended when written.
