It's passed 100,000 (very quickly!). That'll be embarrassing for May.
-
• #1504
it's gone up 5000 in the last 3 or 4 minutes.

Theresa May is an utter shitstain too.
Unelected PM, a patsy to a fucking fascist egomaniac
We are all fucked!

Let's not forget a wannabe ruler-by-edict herself. That's what the Article 50 court case was about ("royal prerogative").

Henry are made in the UK by numatic, solid and therefore used by cleaners...maybe an option if you don't want a Dyson.
Otherwise it's gonna be a German Hoover...or Asian
-
• #1509
Dysons are shit anyway. Heavy and impractical. I use henrys for bth domestic and industrial stuff, very reliable, compact. Dyson hand dryers are shit too.

Watching that petition grow is pretty amazing.

Foreign Policy isn't Foreign Affairs - FP is like Quartz for people interested in international relations, it's not an institution like Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Affairs has published some great stuff on the Trump question, though.
-
• #1515
Thanks for that, but I know what FP is (and that it's not Foreign Affairs, which is really more of a journal). FP does have an impressive history however - founded by Huntington (which is a name I'm sure you're familiar with) - and one which, politically, you would not associate with publishing things like that (or at least I wouldn't).

the hot spots are North London, Bristol and Brighton. Warm spots in Cambridge, Edinburgh, most of central London. -

Not that anyone pays attention
petition.parliament.uk/petitions/171928Clicking 'View on a map' and then choosing the '% of constituents' at the top right is an interesting visualisation.
Islington North, Brighton and Bristol seem to be the most motivated by this petition.

Fair enough. I think they've gone quite mainstream in recent years and are chasing the clicks, hence why I don't think it's such a massive deal they've published this.
Edit to add - although maybe it's more a question of scale. The fact FA has been quite candid struck me more, but yes, neither they nor FP has been complimentary to Trump. Which does say something.

Edinburgh North & Leith leading the way up here. Local pride.

I increasingly think this is all deliberate political theatre - shock and awe by executive order. What's it a prelude to, though?

"Prime minister Theresa May has ordered foreign secretary Boris Johnson and home secretary Amber Rudd to telephone their American counterparts to make representations about the US travel ban, Downing Street has said."
Too little too late, Snake Lady.

No one is talking (well, few are talking) about Bannon getting the post where he essentially is the National Security Council, with the Joint Chiefs side-lined.
-
• #1524
I don't think that the American republic will survive the next four years, but that's Bannon's stated goal (from his Lenin comment, much re-quoted).
-
• #1525
And it's entirely possible that I won't be allowed into the US next time I travel due to that^ comment.
Hope this hasn't gone unnoticed.
