HY/RD with flat bars...
Any specific levers required?
-
• #3103
I'd assume flat bar leavers that deliver road cable pull rather than V brake.

Paul Canti levers. Go bling or go home.

thanks xxx

Any others?
I'm not spending £100...

Why not get proper mtb hydros? Deore are cheap and great and SLX are better for not much more.
-
• #3108
Because I already have HY/RDs

What @snottyotter said. I'm going to get the three finger version of the Deore M615 soon, the T615 they're super cheap for the stopping ability

• #3110
They're a compromise for road levers though, you'd be better off selling them and going full hydro unless maybe you want drops in the future.

I echo this, the cheapest ones also work fine: https://www.bike24.de/p1132835.html?_ga=1.217668947.431911595.1482145553

I agree but I can't be arsed with full hydro.
Had the Hylex levers and they were a pain in the arse. Bike is already routed for cable, it's a simple as removing the di2 levers and bars and switching.

Silver though, right?
-
• #3115
Yep .. half black
-
• #3116
Will match the silver on your HyRd calipers ;)

• #3117
£55 with bars?

A cheap Shimano hydraulic front is like €25 on bike24.

You had a bad experience with the Hylex.
The Shimano hydraulic are massively easy and take five minutes to fit.
On top of this, very powerful and easy to bleed if you're one of them ham-fisted "mechanic".
Thanks very much for those options, I'd not seen either when I was looking. Will make enquiries. Agreed about the weirdness of the adapter, will look fugly. The 160mm will look tidier.
