I have a set of Alpina track forks on my track champ that I'd like to use for road TT's so I'd either like to a) drill them or b) swap them/sell them and buy a drilled set. Is anyone after a pair? They've only been used a few times on the track.
I'm having an absolute nightmare trying to find someone in Yorkshire to drill these ones (which seems the most sensible option), none of the bike shops will touch them. They are drillable, right?
They certainly are drillable. Best done clamped firmly under a pillar drill, by someone who knows what they're doing (i.e. not your LBS).
There's a steel screw glued inside the (aluminium) crown of the fork, that fills the brake hole. It has been covered with filler by the factory, before painting.

These ones, but the undrilled ones (obviously) http://www.dolan-bikes.com/alpina-ud-carbon-track-fork-gloss-with-brake-hole.html
