Had last minute cold feet and almost asked Matt to build an out and out road bike but then came to my senses and remembered that I don't have space for multiple bikes. So I've gone one step further and asked for clearance for 35c tyres with guards and am now going for a cross fork instead of road. Likely a Whisky No 9 with guard mounts. The frame mitring process had already started so luckily I wasn't too late!
