I just checked again, that look like a different calipers from what I remember seeing previously.
Okay, this is a little odd.
-
• #3080
Okay :) but Shimano BR-RS785 is definitely post mount.
-
• #3081
Agree.
I don't know what happen, I saw the picture, exactly as that, but the title read RS805 originally when i first press the link.

On the subject of mounting (fnarr), can anyone let me know if I need an adaptor to fit 140mm TRP Spyres (mechanical) to these? Cheers
-
• #3084
i dont think so, as those forks are post mount
-
• #3085
I need an answer here
are A and B the same?
1) I thought only IS mount had differences between front and rear
2) surely a 140 to 160 adapter is the same as a 160 to 180?why do they make this so COMPLEX! all i need is a 140 to 160 for my fork

Cool, thanks.

I got some new 160mm floating rotors on my cross wheels and when I used them at the weekend the front caused loads of vibration at low speed, I've used my other wheels for commuting this week with standard rotors, and they've been fine, any suggestions?

Looks like a 160mm post mount fork so: Not possible...
-
• #3092

160mm on this picture but yes maybe they changed it and you are in luck...Ritchey has a fork that is 140mm post mount but it is 12.5mm longer: a-to-c 395mm

The Condor ones had the lowest a-c distance I could find, so will go with those, plus they're good value. Will ask the question, though 160mm isn't a deal breaker.

That fork looks identical to the Genesis equilibrium disc fork I have. I suspect it's from the same manufacturer. If so, I use 160mm rotor with spyre with no adapter.
You'd need the magical inverse shim to use 140mm. -

SJS cycles carbon road fork is 2,5mm less/380mm .... but with iso mounts :
https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/forks/evolution-a647-carbon-road-disc-forks-700c-1-18-inch-ahead-for-32-mm-tyres/
140mm is possible with front iso with a tektro lyra adapter but looks a bit weird
enigma had a carbon fork that was 376mm but i cannot find it on their website. Maybe ask them:
It could be the version for sale here->http://www.fatbirds.co.uk/1767599/products/enigma-c-six-carbon-disc-fork---350mm-steerer.aspx
Picture are definitely post mount, but it said flat mount, so likely to be flat mount (picture in this cause nearly always tend to be wrong).
