Then no, there are no environmental benefits to Brexit. I guess at this point it is simply a natty portmanteau. I guess that factored into my decision too. I like portmanteaux. Or whatever the plural is.

If we have to make more things in Britain because we can't import them due to not being in the single market that would result in fewer cargo shipments and lower CO2 emissions.
More stuff would move around the country though which could result in local air pollution levels being higher. Also the emissions/pollution from increased manufacturing would probably negate that.

Anything that benefits the UK fishing industry will be environmentally catastrophic.
