Why, when I search for something on Chrome on Android, even when I go to the page it seems to be redirecting me through google. For instance this URL
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_586e78b2e4b043ad97e206a6/amp?client=ms-android-motorola
rather than this
m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_586e78b2e4b043ad97e206a6/amp?client=ms-android-motorola
I can't see a way to get the proper URL without editing it manually. Is there an option somewhere or is this a "feature" of Android/Chrome now.

It's to do with AMP, you can see it in the web address. You end up viewing a page that has been cached and faffed with (details) by Google.
It's AMP, AMP sucks.
Use Firefox on Android, search there and do not click the little lightning bolts.
