• I've had to open my own dispute today.

Bought an air sprung suspension fork on the 10th, it arrived a week later with no air in one leg and too much in the other.

I questioned the seller as to whether there was a problem with the right leg holding air (none was mentioned in the listing) and set both legs at correct pressure.

Got a reply saying the fork belonged to the seller's father, had been little used and maybe he just didn't know how to use it.

I checked the pressures the next day and the next again and was satisfied it was holding air so left positive feedback.

Had to buy a brake adapter in order to use the fork so only got to ride it today and the right leg lost pressure during my ride.

I've started a Paypal dispute as I presumed eBay would see my positive feedback (having a look now to see if I can revise that) and consider the sale finalised. Also, Paypal have the option to request a partial refund which I don't think eBay do?

No reply from seller yet but I did only open the dispute at about 3pm.

Wonder how this will go since I've left positive feedback already...
