  • Only if she thinks the same. Today I have been shown, once again, my sole purpose is to ensure the Princess' tummy is full. So I took a nap without setting the alarm, and she was so keen to wake me up at about 6pm, I was like, ohhhh... someone wants a cuddle or 6... and it turned out, her food bowls, both of them, were empty... yap... she just wanted to make sure I come back from the dead to feed her...

  • Woah! That's getting kinda morbid;-)
She thinks (and has other plans for) if you're not there every day... (cat FFS!)
You think (worry) about not being there to care for her every now and then. (lovely person FFS!)
    She's a survivor, you're a survivor, you're perfect for one another:-)

  • We are perfect for each other, indeed. Everytime I go away and come back, she gets more clingy... I might have said this on here before, but I had to go away for a long time due to family emergency, it turned out to be 4 months, upon my return, I fully expected the cat would have forgotten about me etc, as she'd only been with me less than a year. To my surprise, she ran towards me like a dog would, that was still one of the best moments we share.

Then I had to leave her at the vet for a mere 4 hours last summer for a small op, when I went to pick her up, she was rubbing left, right and centre in her box trying to get out to rub me, like she hadn't seen me in years...

She needs me, or I would like to think she does.

Oh, did I mention, whenever I am ill in bed, like with a really bad cold or sth, I can be ret assured that I will be brought the freshest and fattest road killed mice to my bedside. Every. Single. Time. She does look after me well, just not in a way that a normal sane human being would appreciate.
